Fishing the Tidal Basin in Washington D.C.!!! I NEVER would have expected such AMAZING fishing from such a public and popular area! In the past I’ve had mixed success from this unique spot, ranging anywhere from a 35+ pound blue catfish to a few chunky bass to getting skunked after a 10 hour day on the water… On today’s outing, I time my arrival to sync perfectly with the height of the incoming tide, and as my reward, I catch a TON of awesome fish including two species I’ve never pulled out of the basin before!
