Want to know how to catch a bunch of live bait using a sabiki rig?
In this video, Capt. Justin Napior shows how to catch threadfins using a sabiki rig.
All you need to catch live bait using a sabiki is the following:
1. Inexpensive rod and reel
2. Sabiki rig
3. Dehooker
4. Livewell
5. 1oz weight
Once you find the schools of threadfin, then it’s just a matter of casting your sabiki rig and 1-oz weight in the school, slowing reeling it in with some slight bumps of the rod tip, and wait for the threadfins to hit your hooks.
On good days, it’s not rare to catch multiple threadfins per cast.
