At the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite Series event at the St. Lawrence River. Bassmaster Conservation Director Gene Gilliland and New York Director Barb Elliott teamed up to provide effect fizzing classes to anglers in order to protect the resource they utilize yearly up north. Fizzing is one way Bassmaster promotes conservation to the anglers and viewers. Other ways include constantly pumping new and fresh water during the day of competition into their livewells and keeping the water temperature consistent to where they were caught, especially on hot days. #bassmaster #conservation #fishing
