Johnny Morris, founder and creator of Bass Pro Shops, recounted the early days of Ray Scott and B.A.S.S. and when he got his start in the sport. Morris found inspiration at an early Bassmaster tournament after seeing and meeting so many lure innovators and great fishermen in the 1970’s. Shortly after, Morris opened the doors on his first tackle section in his fathers store and the rest is history.
