We have often heard people say that a $30 YETI is rip-off because you could just buy a $.75 foam koozie and keep your beer (or any cold beverage) just as cold…
But when asked, no one could prove any evidence that a YETI Colster was any better or worse than an inexpensive koozie. So we set out to do the ultimate test by putting a cold beer in the following three situations for a full “99 minutes” and took temperatures at certain increments (because quite honestly, who takes 99 minutes to drink a beer…)
1) A “Naked” can beer with no koozie
2) A beer in a traditional foam koozie
3) A beer in a YETI Rambler Colster
What we found was that the YETI Rambler Colster definitely kept beer much cooler than both the traditional foam koozie and “naked beer”.
