This is a completely Independent Review of the Under Armour Captain Storm Polarized sunglasses in the “Satin Good Grain Brown” color. Overall, I really liked these polarized glasses. Let me explain the pros and cons of the UA Captain sunglasses:

As someone that is spending a lot of time on the water (especially shallow water for inshore fishing), I really like the fact that these Under Amour glasses are lightweight, and the fact that they stay on my head incredibly well.

After spending many years using Polarized sunglasses that were made of glass (which weigh a whole lot more than plastic frame sunglasses), it will be tough to ever go back to glass after feeling how light these glasses are.

The other key feature that I didn’t even get to spend much time on during the video is the fact that all of the Under Armour Storm sunglasses have adjustable nose-pads and temples.

And for a guy like me that has a thin bridged nose, it has been almost impossible to find good polarized sunglasses that don’t end up slipping down my nose after I am sweating. All you have to do is slightly pinch the nose pieces and you can move them with your fingers. Its pretty cool!

Apparently Under Armour has a trademarked “ArmourFusion” frame design that combines Titanium and Grilamid (type of plastic) for super tough strength, flexibility, and a lightweight feel.

I also mention in the video that these UA glasses fit my held incredibly well as they have a natural bend that really hugs the head. To someone like me that wears sunglasses on a boat all day, this is incredibly important, and UA did a phenomenal job with the sunglasses arms (although I didn’t love the small opening in the arms, but it isn’t the end of the world, and it certainly makes them lighter).

Finally, all of the Under Armour Storm glasses come with a lens technology that is resistant to oils in sunscreen, bug spray, and salt water, so you don’t have to worry about them corroding, cracking, or losing color due to oils.
