Fishing bridges at night for giant snook has been on my bucket list for years! In this vlog I’m with Outlaw and JQ for another round of fishing all night for these allusive fish. These huge fish sit under the bridges at night and wait for live bait like mullet and other bait fish to swim by. We are using heavy spinning tackle and live mullet with calculated placement out or bait to give the right presentation to attract these huge snook into biting. Finally, after many hours and many casts, I was able to hook up on a giant snook and land it in the net. It’s an epic feeling to able to land one of these awesome fish that resemble largemouth bass so much. They are as close to a bass as you can get when fishing saltwater! I was so happy to scratch this bucket list fish off the list and come back to Texas knowing I had finally tricked one of those big bridge snooks into biting. Now my new PB is 37″ and my new goal is to catch one over 40″ in the future.
