It’s not everyday that you hook a giant shark like the one in this video. This shark was extremely strong! We used a cobia carcass for bait and within 15 minutes, the shark took the bait. Josh fought the shark for about 30 minutes before handing the rod off to Peter. Josh was concerned about the safety of the shark. He did not want to kill the fish with exhaustion. Peter fought the shark for an additional 20 minutes before the hook straightened. This shark could have easily weighed more than 1000lbs.
