Its finally fall and I am out here bass fishing with my Abu Garcia Baitcaster and a Lipless Crankbait. With lower temperatures right around the corner, I decide to bring my thermometer with me to keep an eye on water temps. Water here is still typically in the low 70s with one location coming in at 69 degrees. Shad are schooling up in the backs of some creeks and smaller bass are chasing them. I am able to catch a couple of bass on the lipless crankbait while trying to imitate the shad. Fall is a great time to be fishing a lipless crankbait, and so far, the $40 Abu Garcia Baitcaster is doing well.
