Issue 48 of Catch Magazine’s T-Motion Theater presents Desert Drift, a perfect day on a top-secret bass-filled, desert ditch loaded with hungry smallmouth bass. It could not have happened without the teamwork and logistical brain power of Jack and Jennifer Mitchell of The Evening Hatch http://www.theeveninghatch.com, and guide Russell Vogt. Russell and Jennifer set out in an Adipose Boatworks Flow with tech casting platform. Loaded with Rainy’s poppers, they prepared to tackle the waters in search of the smallmouth bass known for big action in this area. Jack and I followed in a separate boat, where I was able to capture some great footage and bag a few fantastic aerial shots as well. Thanks to Jack and Jennifer Mitchell, Guide Rusty, and Adipose Boatworks for creating such a great tool for fishing scenerios like this. Also a big thank you to Ross Reels – http://www.rossreels.com and Eddie Bauer – http://blog.eddiebauer.com for their generous support of T-Motion Theater.
