In the 1960’s, Glen Andrews was the angler to beat in tournaments on the White River. Andrews was so good, tournament organizers would create rules to limit his ability. Andrews, who never fished a tournament with B.A.S.S. was brought in by Ray Scott to create fair rules so Scott’s competitions would be considered fair and just. Andrews, to this day, could be considered one of the biggest “what-if”s in the early tournament bass fishing history.
