In this video, Bassmaster Elite Series pro Mike Huff talks about one of his favorite types of structure to fish during the late summer to early fall transition. Huff loves bluff walls because it gives fish the ability to move up and down in the water column without much effort. Fish can live shallow on a bluff wall to feed and drop down in depth if they desire cooler water or less pressure.
To approach these bass, Huff likes a finesse jig with a trimmed down Berkley Creature Hawg as a trailer. Huff put this technique to work at the 2020 Bassmaster Elite at Lake Chickamauga.
