The Alberto knot has been continually suggested by many fans for us to test out against the winner of our first ever knot contest… the FG knot.
And the Alberto knot is popular for many reasons:
– Easy to tie
– Impressive strength
– Can be used with almost all line types
But the question is how does the Alberto Knot strength compare the the FG knot strength?
And that is exactly what we set out to determine in this latest knot contest.
For this one, we first tested the Alberto knot against the Albright knot that is very similar and also very popular.
Once the Alberto knot turned out to be the stronger of the two, we then put the Alberto knot against the FG knot…
