Today I am river fishing for bass and catfish at the same time! I’m fishing the Tennessee River with Chatt Cats. After catching 2 catfish, the catfish bite slowed down. I figure I would try some bass fishing by jigging a spoon. Just cast it out and let it sink, then pop it every once in a while. After a few minutes I was able to catch a spotted bass, a bluegill (maybe) and another spotted bass! I was excited to catch a bass out there on the river, especially on ultra light tackle. When the catfish fishing is slow, maybe try for some bass next time you are on the river.
