This is the second in my series of Fester Fish cartoons.
It’s an homage to the classic theatrical shorts of the 1930s and 40s. It took me about eight months to make it, finishing in May 2011. I used Flash to do the animation, although I drew it all by hand, frame by frame. The backgrounds were coloured in Photoshop. My big inspirations with this cartoon were Fleischer’s Betty Boop and Popeye cartoons, as well as some Ub Iwerks shorts.
