In May 2014 we went to shoot our last show of the season that was to air only three weeks later (talk about quick turnaround!). Of course the tarpon bite was on fire the week before we showed up and we were booked with one of best in Key West Aaron Snell Then the day we arrived it started to blow (of course!) Sustained 20-25mph with gusts to 35. It forced into a new program of night fishing for tarpon when the winds died (slightly.) Two baits were key to even pulling it all off: Yo-Zuri hard baits and Hogy soft baits. Aaron and I alternated to keep ’em guessing.
