Chris and I used the last 3hrs of daylight before the epic Super Moon phase to see if we could locate some finicky Ohio largemouth. After scratching our heads and roughing it out with jigs, cranks, other tactics we finally decided to made the decision to slow down and fish the finesse way. Luckily it pulled off! What’s weird is in all the years I’ve fished this lake I’ve never really considered these fish to jump all over the finesse tactic. I truly believe the moon phase had something to do with them opening up a bit right before the sun went down as we had fished all those same spots 4 times over already. I could be wrong bet you never know with a super moon! Thanks for watching I hope you all enjoyed! Keep fishing, NEVER stop!
