Happy New Year! This is some footage from January 1, 2017 where my buddy Junebug and I went out to Newton Lake, a power plant lake here in Central Illinois. We did not really “whack em” on this day but the first spot we pulled up to had several fish on it. We caught a majority of our fish on a Strike King KVD 200 Jerkbait in Clown and a Rapala Shadow Rap, another jerkbait that runs deeper than the KVD 200.
