A Daiwa Fuego 2500 should be the same size as a Daiwa BG 2500 right?

There are plenty of differences between the different series of reels from Daiwa and other reel manufacturers.

Are the differences that significant though?

YES – there are plenty of factors to take into account from bulkiness and weight to gear ratio and inches per turn!!!
