The Crazy Alberto knot and The Albright knot are two of the most popular fishing knots for connecting a braided line to a fluorocarbon leader.

The reason they are so popular is because they are both easy to tie, they can be used to connect lines of different sizes/types, and they are both known for having very strong breaking points.

But just how strong are they?

Well we decided to put them up to the test…

First, we tested them against each other which is shown in this video of the Alberto knot vs the Albright knot.

Then, we put the winner of the two up agains the winner of our earlier braid to fluoro knot contests (the FG knot).
