It’s line test time!
A few weeks ago I tested PowerPro Super Slick 8 V2 vs PowerPro Original to see how they compared in casting distance (you can see the results of that test here: https://bit.ly/30wKySx)
Now, another important quality of line is how strong are the knots you tie with it.
I recently got a new knot strength testing device and this is the first time I’ve put it to use.
In this experiment I tested both a uni knot and an FG knot to see how they compared.
The results were very interesting, as they revealed qualities about both the lines and the knots that might surprise you.
