Paddle board fishing is always a great time, but this particular trip was extra special given that it took place in a hidden lake that I recently found in the St. Pete area.

The paddle board was necessary to get back there because the only way in to this hidden fishing spot is to carry it through mangroves. This trip, the water was very low so skipping jigs under the bushes was easy. All snook and redfish were way up in the shallows warming up.

There is nothing like catching a snook or redfish from a paddle board, and it is really cool when you do it in a hidden salt water lake that very few know about it.
