The Alberto knot is becoming a very popular knot among anglers who connect a braided main line to a fluorocarbon leader line.
It’s popularity is due to the fact that it’s easy to tie and it makes for a strong connection.
But how strong is the Alberto Knot compared to the other braid to leader options?
Well we put it to the test in a recent knot contest.
In it, we put the Alberto knot directly against the Albright knot to see which one was the strongest.
Then, we put the Albright knot against the winner of our prior braid to fluoro knot contests (FG knot) to see how if fared.
