Sometimes fishing for bass on docks can get down right combative. When you are dealing with older lakes with lots of old docks, there can sometimes be really old nasty docks that hold the best fish. Lots of brush piles, old fishing line, lights, and who knows what else. Spooling up with 20-25 fluorocarbon or some braided line is a must. Try probing the nastiest looking targets, even though you may not get the fish all the way out of the cover, you won’t have a chance if you never cast in there!
