Shaw fishes a shallow, marshy lake full of weeds – typical of many top largemouth waters around the country – using a bait perfectly suited to the purpose, the Naked Rage Blade. It’s a jig with a clear plastic blade on front, designed to make the lure vibrate, and with a soft-plastic tail that wiggles along. Shaw shows how to fish the Naked Rage on tough, sensitive braided line, ripping the lure through the weeds without snagging it, and the bass obligingly climb aboard.
