Lipless crank baits are incredibly versatile. They can be burned through the water column, slow rolled and “ticked” through vegetation and cover, or hopped and dragged along the bottom like a jig. All of these presentations are effective during different Spring conditions, though some are more effective than others on different lakes. For anglers that travel lake to lake or anglers that want to be well rounded on their home lake, its important to own baits for each different “style” of lipless crankbait fishing.
