Giving our fish to people on the bank feels good. In today’s vlog I’m on Lake Livingston in east Texas going bass fishing with Ross and Matt from Mystery Tackle Box. This wasn’t my first choice of lakes, but it was close to the bassmaster classic. We are throwing spinnerbaits, crankbaits and bladed jigs along the bridge where the shad are spawning. For the first few hours of the day, there were largemouth bass feeding on the shad spawn, but then the fishing got really tough. We ended up catching some drum and white bass and there was a construction worker on the bank that wanted some fish to eat. We gave them our fish went on to fishing but fishing docks and shallow wood was not working out. It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back to this lake for a while.
