In this vlog, me and blacktiph are searching for the prehistoric giant alligator gar that lives in the rivers of Texas. Josh and I have been planning this adventure for year, and It’s his first time coming to Texas. We are using blood carp heads on big fishing rods and reels and putting them out into the river and letting the gar take the bait for a long time before setting the hook. By putting the boat on the bank, we are able to make less noise and not spook these allusive fish as much. Blacktiph ended up landing one fish, but we will be back for more in the next video!
