I’m going bass fishing in east Texas with NFL football player Brian Robison. We are on Lake Sam Rayburn getting ready for his charity tournament. The water is clear and the largemouth bass are up in the shallows for spring spawning. We ended up fishing swimbaits along the grass lines and fishing a frog along the hay grass. I had a big bass smash my swimbait, and we saw lots of smaller bass schooling along the creek edges. We had to come in early because of a storm but the fishing was good before the cold front came in.
