When you are fishing in the winter, you don’t normally think that bass will be in a few feet of water. On this bright sunny afternoon however, there were some bass that moved to the back of a creek around shallow grass and wood to sun themselves and warm up. I lost some good fish flipping a jig around some shallow wood, but was shocked how shallow the fish actually were!
