Day 4 of the Southbound Tour brought us to Stockton Lake in Missouri. I just love fishing any Ozark lake…and I especially love the opportunity to catch largemouth, spotted bass and smallmouth all in the same lake! On this day I was even lucky enough to catch a fish species that’s very rare for this lake…a meanmouth bass, which is a hybrid between a spotted bass and a smallmouth bass. My good friend Kyle, who has grown up fishing the lake, had never caught one in 30 years fishing. Pretty cool!
