Bass fishing legend Gary Klein discusses his approach to breaking down new water with a focus on docks using the wacky rigging technique. Gary says one of the keys is to read the docks and zero in on the sweet spots. Taking the time to thoroughly fish the high percentage areas will narrow down fishable water and save you time.

His strategy is to think about the pros and cons of each dock and make casts accordingly. Gary talks about what makes a dock a high percentage one and also how each cast and each fish should lead you to the next cast and fish, ultimately building a pattern.
