Early spring fishing means finesse fishing (Ned Rig) and slowing way down to catch bass especially big pre spawn bass. Changing weather conditions can make the fish in your lake tough to catch but Ned Rig is the perfect finesse technique to catch more bass this time of year. @BassQuest and I took the Ned Rig out to a fairly clear water Florida lake and made a few mods to the baits we were using and changed our fishing rod retrieve to the point of almost not moving the bait. Here are some simple tips and techniques to catch more bass in early spring.
