Bassmaster Elite Series angler Dakota Ebare self reported an accidental “no information rule” policy and was fined $2,500.00. Luckily he wasn’t disqualified for breaking this rule, but it brings in a lot of questions. Is it soliciting information if your talking to your friend about fishing a tournament in October versus the Elite tournament in February? Would other anglers self-report this also? Dakota did the CORRECT thing and he should be commended for doing what was right.
