Josh was vertical jigging for bonito on a weedline off the coast of Jupiter, Florida. He hooked up and the reel started screaming! Josh thought it was a giant bonito, but it turned out to be a smoker kingfish (estimated between 25-30lbs). It was amazing that the kingfish didn’t bite through the Technora connection or the 50lb fluorocarbon.
