In the 1970’s and early 1980’s, Bassmaster only produced video content and television for the Bassmaster Classic. In 1985, Ray Scott knew TV would be important to the growth of fishing, thus the Bass Masters television program was created. This is this initial pilot episode that was pitched to stations and networks.
This year marks 40 years of television for Bassmaster.
