Today I’m bass fishing with live bait on a drop shot rig. After trying a few lures with little success. I accidentally catch a small shad on a lipless crankbait. Then I catch a nice white bass with that crazy shad & lipless crankbait combo. I further develop the idea to catch shad and bass by using a treble hook drop shot rig. I am easily able to catch shad on it, and use that live shad bait to catch largemouth bass. Sometimes you need to think on the fly when typical fishing lures aren’t working. Maybe try bass fishing with live bait on a drop shot?
